Task 1 "direct/indirect speech"

My uncle in chicago called and (said) that he was organizing a surprise party for my aunt's 60" birthday. He (asked) me if i could come to chicago for the party. I(told) him that i would be happy to come. I(said) when it was. He(said) it was the last weekend in August.

Task 2 "directions: Change the qouted speech to reported speech. Change the verb in qouted speech to a past form in reported speech if possible"

Task 3 "Direction: Complete the reported speech sentences. Use formal verb forms."

-I said," I'II carry the box up the stairs."

-Rio said to me,"I can teach you to drive !'
